1. Ghostly goodies - I found the recipe for these at Parenting, I just substituted black decorating gel and cinnamon red hots for M&M's.
2. Creepy cookies - Bake your favorite cookies. While cookies are still warm, use a cookie stamp to make an impression in the top of the cookie. Then with decorating gel very carefully outline the shape. Dust a little icing sugar over the top.
3. Spider cakes - Bake vanilla cupcakes and top with vanilla icing once cooled. Cut black licorice (I prefer Australian licorice) into thin strips just over an inch long and lay on top of the icing for legs. Black M&M's standing on their side in the icing make great eyes.
4. Bat cakes - Bake chocolate cupcakes. Once cooled, cut a circle from the center of the top of the cake. Fill the hole with chocolate icing and coat the top of the cupcake. Cut the circle in half and stick into the icing as batwings. Stand orange M&M's on their side in the icing for eyes.
