It was my birthday over the weekend, but seeing as it was also the same day as Father's Day, we celebrated a day early on what we refer to as my 'Australian birthday'.
There was a lot of celebrating. The hubby and I went on a date to Morgan Winery for a little wine tasting, we went out for dinner with the kids to one of our favorite local non-chain family friendly restaurants and then we went to Ghirardelli for white chocolate mocha's and a giant bag filled with chocolates.
I got a new bike. I love it. I haven't ridden a bike since I was very, very little, but when I saw this one on-line I fell in love. All I need now is a basket on the front. I also got a new hood for my camera. I can't afford a new camera (well, not the ones I've been looking at anyway) so this was the next best thing. I was very spoiled.
And yes, this is the post where I admit my age. Happy 38th birthday to me! I may as well start embracing it, as I'm not going to get any younger, despite how hard I try.
