March 11: Orange County Instameet - I spent a few hours visiting a farmers market, enjoying food truck bacon wrapped dates in front of a band, riding in a balloon, and snapping iPhone photographs with some amazing local photographers and bloggers at Orange County Great Park.
March 12: Reading - I have finished book no.4, Just Like Me, Only Better by Carol Snow. Four books in three months. I think I need another visit to the book store. Although I didn't think this was quite as good as the last three books I read, I must have really gotten into it because I finished it in record time. It's the type of books you can see being made into a movie.
March 13: Aikido - The little man has begun taking Aikido classes. His first class was a big hit, and he absolutely loved it. We are hoping that these calmer activities of golf and aikido will help with his ADHD. There is constant movement, and discipline which is exactly what he needs. We found that sports like T-Ball were just not for him because of all the downtime involved of sitting on benches and standing out in a field waiting for a ball to come his way, he was far too bored.
March 14: Painting - It's almost spring, a time for organizing, and freshening things up. My first project this week was putting together Miss M's jewelry organizer.
March 15: Our Anniversary - 9 years ago today my husband and I got married in a garden at an historic mansion in Melbourne (Australia). Although he wasn't home today to celebrate, he did send me a lovely bouquet of roses which I placed into a beautiful vase that we were given on our wedding day.
March 16: Little Leprechaun's - The kids had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day celebration at school today.
March 17: Sea Life Aquarium - it was a very rainy Saturday. We decided to put our memberships to Legoland to good use and spend a few hours at the Sea Life Aquarium. The kids watched a puppet show, did a St. Patrick's Day craft, made Lego creations, and pressed their little faces to the tanks to watch all of the magnificent sea life.
