February 26: Still Reading - I've managed to finish 3 books so far this year. This nightly reading, now with a glass of chocolate wine in hand has become quite a wonderful habit. The book I just finished is The Last Summer (of you and me) by Ann Brashares, who is the author of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (which I still have not read). Fabulous book, I highly recommend it.
February 27: Dance - After weeks of being on wait lists and trying to find a ballet class that fit in with our busy schedule, Miss M did a trial class that was a combination of ballet, tap, and jazz at a local studio and loved it. My mummy bragging moment - it had been over 6 months since she'd taken a ballet class so I thought she would need a refresher, but the trial class was an intermediate one, and even though she had never taken a tap lesson before, they let her borrow some shoes and she picked up the moves with no trouble at all.
February 28: Rusty and Rosy - As you know I'm a blogger at Rusty and Rosy, and as part of our contract, we were lucky enough to be given a laptop with a year of the reading program for the kids. They've been getting on there as often as they can and absolutely love it.
February 29: Grab Bags - we spend so much time at therapy and medical appointments, and I'm so thankful for my grab bag of activities to keep the kids entertained.
March 1: Yarn & Wine Night - The lovely Nat of Crafting Crazy hosted our Yarn & Wine Night this month. I've now almost finished the back of Flynn's vest. I hope it ends up being a little too big so it will fit him next winter.
March 2: Seussical - We had a great field trip with the kinder class today to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. We saw the play Seussical. It was fabulous.
March 3: SoCal Lady Bloggers Lunch - A few of the SoCal Lady Bloggers met for lunch at Leoness Cellars in Temecula. We took wine flights, and I had the most delicious salad. Let's not forget the cheesecake for dessert. The White Merlot was by far my favorite wine.
