April 15: Taking the top down - I've mentioned that my parents are here visiting from Australia. Well during their first week here they rented this cool red car. The kids were besotted of course. Well, that was until grandpa took the little ones for a drive on the freeway with the top down. It was a tad too windy for them.
April 16: La Jolla - We are just going to pretend that this happened today okay, because in reality, this happened yesterday, but I forgot to take a photograph today. Oops. You can read more about our fun day in La Jolla here.
April 17: Sandra Lee - Sandra Lee is an author, host of the Food Network show Semi-Homemade, and has launched a new line of kitchen products in Sears and Kmart stores. Later this week I will be flying out to NYC along with a few other bloggers to attend Sandra Lee's Summer Carnival where we will be attending workshops with Sandra Lee and taking a closer look at her new line of kitchen products. I promise to come back with lots of great tips for you. You will be able to follow along with our trip on Twitter using the hashtag #bySandraLee.
April 18: Trampoline Ball Pit - Over a few days the kids snuck bag after bag of ball pit balls from the garage to the trampoline. They had a fabulous time out there jumping in their ball pit. That was until heads collided of course.
April 19: Farm Art - The kids have been studying farm animals in kinder. They made fabulous oil pastel art, then I had the pleasure of spraying them all with a sealer. Things I now know - one can only spray a certain number of these before one feels a little woozy. Also, these kids are very talented.
April 20: Thrift Shopping - While the kids were at school I spent the morning thrift shopping. I found a great little area that has about 10 thrift stores all in a row.
April 21: Snail Relocation - The kids have been quite perplexed as to why our front walkway is always covered in snails, however there are none in our backyard. So they decided to relocate a few (a family as they called them). They cleared a patch of grass in the middle of the lawn with the little diggers, stuck a few fake flowers in the ground and moved their snail family into their new home. Unfortunately the snail family kept trying to move away, eventually the kids let them.
