Or at least that's what this was going to be, until I saw the weather report for tomorrow. It's going to be 81 degrees.
So needless to say, this gorgeous handmade knit vest is going to be staying home. This was by no means a quick project, through every yarn group with friends, to nights catching up on DVR'd programs on television, this project was many hours long, but it was a labor of love, and will last him through the fall and winter and hopefully into next year too.
So because I won't be getting all kinds of adorable photographs of him wearing it tomorrow, I asked him to wear it for me today, so I could capture a few 'nice' photos under the shade of a big tree in our yard. This kid is a complete goofball though, so I set my camera on sports mode and captured his personality, and a little of the vest thrown in instead.
