This is one of my favorite popsicle molds for the kids.
Last weekend, I made jugs of pink and regular lemonade for a backyard picnic. We had some lemonade left over a so I poured a little into these fun LEGO popsicle molds to make after school treats for the kids.
The mold unfortunately only makes three popsicles, however if you are wanting to make them for a party, or a LEGO playdate this is how you do it:
- Make your first 3 popsicles. Once set in the freezer, rinse cold water over the back of the mold to ensure they pop out easily.
- Lay a piece of wax paper over a cookie sheet and place the first three popsicles on it, ensuring that they are not touching. Place the cookie sheet into the freezer.
- Repeat until you have the desired number of popsicles.
- To serve, fill a large bowl with ice and stand the popsicles in it, or fill a large sheet cake pan, or tray with sides with ice and lay the popsicles over the top.
Note: I purchased our LEGO minifigure popsicle mold from a store at Legoland. However if you do a Google search you will find other locations selling them.
