I'm about as casual as they come. Some of my friends from Australia may laugh at this, or need to be picked up off the floor, but rarely a day goes by when I'm not wearing jeans, flats, and a comfy top ... okay, let's get real, you can replace jeans with sweats at least every other day. Once upon a time I wouldn't be seen dead in a pair of flat shoes, or sweats, in fact I don't think I even owned any for a few years.
I'm also 6lbs down in my weight loss. Yay! Okay, most of this was because I was sick for two weeks, but so far I've managed to keep it off. Portion control is my best friend. Only 17lbs to go. I have to say that number seems very daunting.
I'm excited to start shopping for new, more flattering casual wear though.
This outfit is first on my list.
While I was sitting home sick and in desperate need of some retail therapy, I ordered the shirt, top, and pants on-line. Splendid were offering free shipping so I couldn't resist.
Now I just need the shoes, headband, bracelet and camera bag. Oh how I love the Maurizio Taiuti yellow cross-over bag that I use every day, but this cross-over camera bag is just begging me to buy it, especially for heading out on tours and photo walks.
The headband screams spring doesn't it, and a simple gold bracelet would top the outfit off perfectly, especially for while I'm out taking photos; there is nothing worse than hair blowing in your face, and things clanking around on your wrist.
