This party table, especially for dad, takes little time to set up, and will be loved by all.
Afternoon tea is a light mid-afternoon meal I grew up with, where a couple of sweet treats (often cake or cookies) are served with tea or coffee.
So, all you need for this table are a couple of treats that dad loves, his favorite beverage, and handmade gifts from the kids.

There's a new show starting at SeaWorld San Diego today, Madagascar Live! Operation Vacation.

Kids are going to love this 20-minute song and dance extravaganza featuring some of their favorite Madagascar characters including Alex the lion, Mort, King Julien, Gloria and our favorite penguins Skipper, Private, Kowalski and Rico. There are dancers, a rock/pop band playing live music, and meet and greets for park guests.

None of my boys have a sweet tooth, they will occasionally indulge in cookies and love ice cream, but they don't really eat dessert, cake, or anything with icing, so these cupcakes are perfect for a dad who doesn't like cupcakes covered in icing.

This Fettuccine with Cauliflower Alfredo Sauce sneaks in a little veggies for the kids, and they will never know it, unless you have a big mouth like me and tell them as soon as they've taken their first mouthful.
Serves: 6-8 (served our family of 5 with lunch leftovers for 2 people tomorrow)

On May 25 Disneyland launched a new live show at the newly refurbished Fantasyland Theater, Mickey and the Magical Map.
The 22-minute song-and-dance extravaganza features some favorite Disney characters such as Pocahontas, King Louie (The Jungle Book), Mulan, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (Tangled) and Tiana (Princess and the Frog), as well as Mickey of course .. and more, but I don't want to give it all away.
