Armed with glitter, stickers, chipboard cut-outs, glue, crayons and stamps, the kids set to work making their own Spring books.  I won't share every page of the books, but I've added photos of a few of my favorites.  It became a day-long project while we waited for glue to dry before moving onto the next page, but that kept them interested as they got a break to play outside in-between pages.

Hi Katie, thank you for the comment.

I had the kids glue a few lined pages into the books and over the next week I’m going to have them tell me a few short stories and I’m going to write it onto the lined pages for them. So these will be more like story books.

Great idea and I happen to have some dollar minibooks from Target and lots of leftover odds and ends from my own pages. Do you plan to add little photos or are they art work scrapbooks? Either way, I am definitely going to do this with my 3.5 year old. She always wants to scrap with Mama and I bet she’d be thrilled with her own little book to work on next to me.

Great idea, I scrapbook and the kids are always asking to do it too. I think I’m going to get them their own little books and let them get to work!
