I'm gradually wading my way through my 800+ photographs from BlogHer. But if I continue doing a post a day from all of the magnificent events that I attended, we will be here until Christmas, so let's speed things up a little shall we.
The ever so fabulous Audrey McClellan and Vera Sweeney hosted a spectacular Geeting Gorgeous event at the Warwick Hotel, complete with makeovers, and absolutely amazing swag, such as Miracle Body jeans, that I wore later that night, that truly are a miracle, no spanx required. And there was a gorgeous Lia Sophia necklace, flat irons and curling wands, a super cute scarf from K-Mart Design, a power mat, Hanes socks and so many other items that I was just blown away.
See the photo, bottom right, do you know who that is? Do you? It's Liz Lange. As in Liz Lange Maternity. I think I purchased half of her line when I was pregnant with the twins.
And top right, that would be 2 of my favorite party planning gals Dawn Sandomeno and Elizabeth Mascali of the amazing site Party BluPrints. Heads up, they have a book coming out soon. It's going to be AMAZING.
One of the highlights of this day, besides Getting Gorgeous, was enjoying a wonderful lunch with Dawn Sandomeno, Elizabeth Mascali, Katja Presnal, Jen Drechsler, Beth Feldman, and Jen Singer at the Peninsula Hotel. There is nothing quite like a group of powerful, inspiring women, a mimosa and a lobster cobb salad to make my day complete. I absolutely love all of these women.
Or more correctly: BlogHer 2010 Voices of the Year Gala and Art Auction Curated by Kirtsy.
Where we drank @pinktwitters (I'm not kidding, photo below) and viewed some absolutely AMAZING art and photography on exhibit, and there were photo opportunities and inspiring people such as Chookooloonks wielding a paintbrush in our direction.
Clockwise from top left (I think we can skip the center, it says it all): @pinktwitter; Sue of Happy Meals & Happy Hour and Lisa of Mommedy; a photo opportunity; the fabulous camera equipment used (I want one of those); I create, that's who I am; Chookoolonks - artist at work; the fabulous Design Mom Gabrielle Blair (this photograph was not taken at this event, however she is one of the Kirtsy chicks and I love her); my room-mate Laura (master juggler);
Unfortunately I had to leave the event early and missed the Voices of the Year.
BLOGGING FRIENDS & CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS
Row 2 left to right: I met Dora (my kids are pretty excited); getting my eyes beautified at the HPV booth; the beautiful Jenny Ingram.
You think that's it don't you? Don't be fooled, there's still more to come.
