If you are looking for a dairy alternative for a delicious chocolatey beverage that’s perfect for everything from after school snacks, to summer entertaining, have I got one for you. This Nutty Chocolate Kiss is made using almond milk and I have the recipe for both a non-alcoholic and alcoholic version that is bound to please.

Nutty chocolate kiss

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Silk Pure Almond Dark Chocolate almondmilk
  • 1 Tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)
  • 1/4 medium banana
  • 1-1 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1/2 cup ice

Combine ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.  Serve immediately, with or without a bendy straw.

If you want to make a version with alcohol, simply add 1 oz of amaretto before blending.

Also, if you don’t like almond milk, try using chocolate soy milk instead.

Tip: Garnish a glass rim with a little Nutella® then dip in a shallow dish of crushed almonds.

You will find lots of delicious drink recipes that are perfect for summer entertaining on the Silk: Silkology Facebook page.

It's VERY chocolatey which I love, but if you aren't used to that I wonder how it would taste if you mixed vanilla flavored almond milk with the nutella instead?  Maybe I should try that.

Miss M has a slight addiction to nutella :).
