Disney Cinderella is being re-released on October 2nd in Blu-Ray/DVD.  In conjunction with this, there will be in-store events at some Walmart stores, as well as beautiful new costumes that little girls will love, and a FREE Disney Princess Royal Ball app available in the iTunes store.

Event Invitation
Now, before you go racing out to purchase a pretty Cinderella outfit, buy the Blu-Ray/DVD, and attend a local event, you need to download the app.  With the app little girls can try out different outfits, as well as other fun activities, and then unlock other special things at Walmart stores by scanning QR codes.  Unfortunately they are not up in my store yet, but we will be looking out for them at the event on Saturday.

Disney Cinderella Costumes at Walmart

While at the event on Saturday we will be purchasing the new Disney Cinderella Blu-Ray/DVD.  I will be back next week showing you how to host a viewing party at home.

To tease a little though, here are a few items I picked up at Walmart that are perfect for a Disney Cinderella party:

Party Tips:

  • Once guests are dressed in their Disney gowns, paint their nails, and style their hair at a special beauty station.
  • Watch the new Disney Cinderella movie – which is a perfect 'keep still' activity for little nails to dry.
  • Decorate a party table fit for a Princess with lots of sparkle.  Provide lots of fun treats, such as princess crown shaped sandwiches, fruit, and a very special cake.
  • Read Disney Cinderella and Disney Princess stories to your little party guests to wind down the party.

Keep up-to-date with all things Disney Princess by following the #DisneyPrincessWMT campaign hashtag on Twitter, as well as here:

You can view more images from my recent shopping trip as well as screenshots of the app on my Google+ photo album.
