As we near the end of 2013, I thought I'd do a round-up of some of the more popular recipes on my blog from throughout the year. I've covered everything from weeknight kid-friendly dinners, to snacks, baked goods and freezer meals.
I hope these give you some ideas to kickstart your menu planning in 2014.

Organizing holiday celebrations for friends and family can become overwhelming, there is so much to prepare, but getting the kids involved will not only ease some of your workload, but also give them a sense of accomplishment.
Over at the Nestlé site Simply Celebrate I'm sharing a tutorial to make this simple candy centerpiece. It's the perfect task for kids to take on.
I'm currently on vacation in Australia. The kids and I are so excited to be spending Christmas with my family and friends.
Unfortunately we can't be here every year though, no matter how much we would love to be. The holidays we miss are filled with cards and phone calls, and gifts arriving in the mail. It's not the same, but at least these things can help us celebrate the holidays together, no matter how far apart we are.
I hired my friend Mandy (of Mandy See Photography) this year to take holiday photos of the kids. She did such a fabulous job. I absolutely love the new photo she took of me ... see it over there to the right, and then there is the new family shot she took for my 'about me' page too.
I love seeing my work featured around the web and in print, however, please only use one image (which should be credited and linked to the original post) and do not re-publish recipes or tutorials. Thank you.
