We eat a ton of granola bars here, the kids take them to school for snacks a few times a week and they are a staple in our pantry. With the cost of gluten-free bars being so much more expensive than regular ones though I've decided it's time to try my hand at making them from scratch.
Of course making gluten-free granola bars calls for rolled oats and lots of them. Oats are another staple in our house, oatmeal is a staple breakfast item and I often use oats in cooking. Did you know oats are considered a superfood?
These granola bars are soft and chewy. I plan on trying a baked version too.
