What you will learn at SITS Bloggy Bootcamp.
Women, learning, bonding, sexy shoes, and FUN is what was on the agenda for last weekend at the SITS Girls Bloggy Boot Camp in San Diego.
We stayed at the Bahia Resort Hotel, where I had a fabulous room. Just look at this view:
Breathtaking, right.
We listened to amazing, inspiring speakers like Lisa Leonard:
and Ashley Stock, Anna Viele, Mary Burt-Godwin, Denae Handy, Amy Bradley Hole, Danielle Liss and the SITS Girls.
We bonded over wine with thanks to Mirassou. The favorite of the evening being the Moscato. Seriously, AMAZING. If you like fruity wines, you will love this one.
We made new friends and caught up with old friends.

My mother's group friends (also bloggers): Natalie, Dana, and Ali.
Katie (La Jolla Mom) and Sharlene (Trekaroo)
Of course, we left with loads of swag, bags of First Street goodies from @SmartFinal (I'm honored to be one of the #sfsmarties) and a bag of kitchen utensils with thanks to @GoodCookBrand.
5 Things I Learned from Bloggy Boot Camp:
I need to FINALLY put together my Media Kit, and now have the tools to do so.
I need to stop eating so much bacon – or not, maybe it will become my trademark.
There is a wide angle lens and tripod available for the flip cam. I must find these. And buy them.
I need to look into myemma.com for newsletters; I've been using Mail Chimp for client newsletters.
Driving from San Diego to Monterey in a storm is the WORST idea EVER!
One more thing. I love my Collective Bias friends. They make me laugh, they make me cry, they inspire me.

I was so happy to finally meet you! You were everything I expected and more.
We love you too Tonya!! Your photographs are beautiful, as usual-I especially like that Moscato photo! I am glad you made it home okay, you must have been so exhausted-I know I stress when driving in the rain. I am writing a post later tonight, just for you and your bacon addiction!
Love ya sweety!
And I love you. You are so genuine, so funny, and so perfect. So glad I got to meet you, and I can’t wait to see you again.
I’m so bummed you were so close, but yet so far! 🙁
I LOVE your pictures, I wish we had met at the event! I hear you’re an avid bacon lover – I love the stuff too! I’m really looking forward to reading more of your blog 🙂
I cannot believe you weren't there. I was so hoping I'd be able to squeeze all my socal peeps. Never mind, I'll be back there more permanently soon and able to see you a lot :).
Thanks Amy. You are truly one of the strongest, most amazing women I have met.
I wish we had actually met at the boot camp too. Hey, I met your shoes though, that totally counts right :). Next time. BlogHer???
