Make and Takes: Fabric Valentine’s Day Garland

by Tonya Staab

Fabric and ribbon garlands are a quick and inexpensive way to add color and a shabby chic or farmhouse vibe to your home decor.

I love making scrap fabric and ribbon garlands. If you sew a lot or collect vintage ribbons, lace, and fabrics, then this is a wonderful way to use them and put them on display in your home.

This romantic pink, white, and grey garland for Valentine’s Day (pictured above) you’ll find over at Make and Takes this week where I’m sharing the tutorial on how to make it.

You can see another fabric, lace, and ribbon garland I made a couple of years ago here. This one is in green, gold, and cream tones and hangs above my reading chair.

Have you tried making fabric, ribbon, and lace garlands? They are a great craft project that you can make and sell on Etsy or local farmer’s markets.

Please pin this idea for later:
