I'm quite often asked how I get my photos and videos on my blog or what websites I used to put them on here. So here goes for the list of great websites that I use.
Some of my collages have been done using Picasa. Simply hold down 'Ctrl' while clicking on the photos you would like in your collage and then click the 'collage' button at the bottom of the page. It's free and super easy to organize all of the photos that you download from your camera too. You could try Big Huge Labs too to create a simulated collage from one photograph.
Want to make your own header for your blog (my header was made using this site) or maybe just put together a scrap book to post from a vacation or a fun day out. Try out Scrapblog. It's free and couldn't be easier to use. Totally addictive too.
amendment: Check my instructions here for putting the scrap into your blog header.
One True Media. I've posted quite a few montages on my blog using this site. You can do a mix of photographs and videos. You can then order the DVD's. Fabulous if you are documenting a wedding, baby shower or party and want a gift for the host.
EMBELLISHMENTS, TEXT, BORDERS AND OTHER FUN STUFF:
Want to add some fun stuff to your photographs, change the shape of the photo or add a border, try these websites: Ez Rounded Corners and Picnik.
Add fun scrap pages to your blog posts then print them out for your scrapbook – Smilebox and Scrapblog.
Want to post videos. Either upload using the Blogger upload tool in your post or try these websites out – Smilebox creations, One True Media montages, Yahoo videos, Google videos, Photobucket, Flickr and You Tube.
Hope this helps. Hope to see many more photos, videos and scrapbooks on your blogs.
If you have any other great links I'd love you to share them with me. Happy blogging.
