I hope you can see in the photo to the left the tiny little pasta eggs, ducks and bunnies. So cute.
1 large ham steak
1pkt easter (or regular tri-color) pasta
1 green pepper (chopped)
1 carrot (thinly sliced)
1 cup corn
1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
1 can diced pineapple
Dressing
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup champagne vinegar
1tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp seeded mustard
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
pepper & grated cheese to top
Boil pasta according to directions on the packet. While that is cooking grill or pan-fry ham steak (about 3 minutes each side) then cut into 1″ cubes. Combine all dressing ingredients into a bowl and set aside. Once the pasta is drained return to pot and add all ingredients above. Toss. Add dressing and return to heat med-low temp and stir continuously until ingredients are warm. Top with freshly ground pepper and grated cheese before serving.
