Who can pass up a day at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park when you only have to purchase 1 ticket.  Kids were free throughout October and active duty military are free.   That just left me.

The weather was perfect.  We arrived bright and early expecting crowds, but were pleasantly surprised to find no crowds throughout the day, just the way we like it.

The kids had a fabulous time riding the Africa Tram Safari, seeing animals up close during the animal encounters, and visiting the various activity booths that were set up throughout the park.  They loved cooling off in the Savanna Cool Zone, feeding the lorikeet, playing in the Fisher-Price Sambaru Jungle Gym, and riding the Conservation Carousel.

Now that we are living back in San Diego, we plan on getting a membership again so we can visit the park as often as possible.

Ah that looks like so much fun! I went there when I was in 5th grade but I don’t think I had that much fun lol
