Rustic Crust have a fabulous Basil and Sea Salt Chiabatta Flatbread.
Now, you could just bake it and then dip it into your favorite marinara or arrabbiata sauce for a yummy appetizer.
Or, you could top it with some of your favorite foods and make a gourmet flatbread perfect for any time of day.
I turned mine into a yummy flatbread fit for brunch.
I had skipped breakfast this day because I wasn’t feeling well, but wasn’t quite ready for lunch, so here is what I added to my flatbread.
- Bacon (grilled and roughly chopped)
- Eggs (hard-boiled and sliced)
- Sun-dried tomatoes (julienne)
- Fresh spinach
- Gruyere cheese (freshly grated)
I simply topped the flatbread with everything but the eggs (which I hard-boiled while the flatbread was in the oven), and then I baked the flatbread for about 10 minutes on 425F.
Once the flatbread was out of the oven I added the warm egg slices to the top.
