We were lucky to have our friends PickleSugarPlum (and family) visiting last week.
We met up with them at the Monterey Bay Aquarium where my kids went a little crazy and ran around the place in about 2 seconds while I madly snapped photos as we dashed past all of the exhibits and barely spent more than a few seconds at a time with our friends. A few seconds is better than nothing though.

Great pictures
I had been avoiding coming by because I’ve been so busy and I knew I would get sucked in with all your Blogher posts and of course I did! I’m off to Costco now but will be back to really read about your adventures tonight. Wanted to tell you real quick that you got such lovely pictures at the aquarium! I find aquariums are hard to photograph, I live the turtle especially. I’ve been there four or so times and even though I’ve now been the Shed in Chicago – which is supposed to be pretty good too – nothing can compare to the MBA and being on the ocean.
I think that the picture of the gold fish is brilliant, and the sea horse. I would love to have an acquarium, but know that I couldn’t maintain it to a good enough standard.
