A Holiday Sock Puppet Craft for Kids

, , , ,

A handmade Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer sock puppet will bring your Christmas stories to life this holiday season.

UPDATE: This craft project was initially created for a website by the name of Kidzui, however that website no longer exists.

Time to dig out that missing sock pile for a fun holiday craft kids will love.

Rudolph Sock Puppet Craft

Make story time more fun this holiday season with a fun sock puppet that kids can make.  The directions to make this easy Rudolph sock puppet are on Kidzui.

What you need:

  • Sock
  • Googly eyes
  • Pipecleaners
  • Pom pom
  • Glue
  • Needle and thread

Cut two small slits in the sock where the antlers should go. Thread the pipecleaner through, stitching it into place, and then shape to form antlers.

Use glue to attach the eyes and red reindeer nose.

Now grab a couple of Christmas stories to read to the kids and bring them to life with your new Rudolph sock puppet.
