Well, when you live close by, it would be a shame not to spend a decent amount of time there. Right?!
First stop: Dippin’ Dots. Yummo!
Then it was off to look at the ocean, walk around the boardwalk and have a look at a couple of galleries.
Before heading out for an early dinner at what has become one of our family favorites, The Fish Hopper.
Where Marisol decided to copy her brother and stick crayons into her straw. She was quite pleased with herself.
And of course you can’t forget about dessert. This time we made our way to the Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop.

Looks like a fun day!I need your help, quite a while back you told me a program you used for your blog, I have been using it (I think it is called something reader??) Anyway, it is missing, my darling Brenna uninstalled a few things a few weeks ago.Anyway…the name would be wonderful so I can install it again, I cant even figure out how to post a pic on blogger direct…ahh!!
You ARE a professional photographer, right? If youre not, you should be.Ive been out of the loop for a few days, so I caught up with all your posts today. Spider on the boob?!!!!!! I dont know how you managed to keep your composure long enough to snap that picture! Marisol eating the fries is priceless – looks like she was in absolute heaven! You children have to be the most photogenic kids ever!
You have a Ghiradelli ice cream and chocolate shop?!?I never knew that even existed. You are so lucky.
we love to go to the fish hopper when we are over your way! fuy story though, the last time we went, our 7 year old was munching on her bread and sort of hung it out over the ledge on the deck there while she was talking…a seagull came down and about took her hand off to get the bread! she was so shocked…she sat there like a statue!
Your photographs are gorgeous. Im sure youd do Steinbeck proud with your portrayal of The Row.

What a terrific time you seem to have had… the photos, as usual, are gorgeous. You went to 2 of my favorite places: Dippin Dots – those things are soooo cool (pun intended) and Ghirardellis!! I am really jealous!!Thanks for sharing.
