Homemade baked caramel macchiato donuts using International Delight Creamer are tasty and so easy to make.

Doughnuts are my jam. All doughnuts. Every single one of them. Whether they are store-bought or homemade I will eat them as often as possible … and sometimes that’s multiple times a week.

Baked doughnuts are surprisingly easy to make too, and there are so many flavors you can try.

I love adding creamers to my coffee, they add a quick boost of flavor so you can use the same basic doughnut recipe (like the one I’m sharing below) and just change out the creamer flavor and the icing. Not only is International Delight a delicious addition to your morning cup of coffee (and it’s my staple every morning), but it’s also fabulous for adding flavor to your baked goods too.

Ingredients

Doughnut Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup International Delight® Caramel Macchiato
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Doughnut Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup caramel chips for melting
  • 1/2 cup International Delight® Caramel Macchiato

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Use a little melted butter or baking spray to coat a mini doughnut baking pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
  4. In a smaller bowl beat the eggs, add the milk, creamer, and melted butter. Whisk together and pour into the well of the dry ingredients. Combine with a wooden spoon.
  5. Snip the end of a piping bag and fill about to about 2/3 with the doughnut mix. Pipe the mix into the doughnut pan.
  6. Bake for approximately 12 minutes.
  7. While the doughnuts are baking, prepare the glaze.
  8. Add the International Delight® Caramel Macchiato and the caramel chips to a small saucepan on the stove and stir continuously until the caramel is melted and bubbling. Remove from the stove and sift, then whisk the icing sugar into the caramel mixture.
  9. While the glaze is still warm dip the top of each doughnut into the glaze and turn onto a wire rack.

Pour a cup of coffee, add a little International Creamer to it and enjoy with your baked caramel macchiato doughnuts.

You can find International Delight Coffee Creamers at your local Walmart store.

You didn’t mention the vanilla extract. I added to wet mix.
