As one of the #sfsmarties, I was invited to attend the Cattleman's Finest event at Smart and Final. I met the fabulous New Country 95.7 crew and there was a demonstration on making steak quesadillas. You can view photographs from the event here.
I'm going to share the recipe with you. I actually bought the ingredients while I was in the store after watching the demonstration and tasting it and then made it when I got home.
Ingredients:
- Cattleman's Finest Flap Meat
- Green Bell Pepper
- Red Onion
- First Street Mild Cheddar Cheese
- Montecito Flour Tortillas
Grill the meat. I used my George Foreman and grilled it on high for about 6 minutes.
While the meat is grilling chop your bell pepper and red onion.
In the panini press I placed one flour tortilla, topped it with the grilled meat, bell pepper, onion and cheese and put a second tortilla over the top. Grill for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
