Today we met up with our homeschool group to pick strawberries at the Carlsbad Strawberry Company. We even convinced daddy to take the morning off work to come with us.
Now the kids are all enjoying strawberry milkshakes, have strawberry yogurt popsicles in the freezer for tomorrow and still plenty of strawberries left to eat.

I had to throw most of ours in the freezer- they were so ripe! I think smoothies are in our future!

FUN!!! I know I say this all the time, but Im moving to where you live…SO much to do!awesome pics
We love picking strawberries. But this year the crop was not so good. I think it was because we had so much rain…they just turned to mush on the vine…and then no one was there to pick and clear it all out. They were out of berries before the end of May and we can usually pick well into mid June. Next year!
Oh yummy, I could do with some strawberries. And just to let you know, my home team, The Bulls are the Super 14 rugby champions! (youre the only blogger that I think will make some sense of that)
YUM-O!!!!!!!

What fun! I love strawberries. Marisol looks like Strawberry Shortcake with all those strawberries!
That looks like so much fun!!!! Were growing strawberries in our garden for the first time and my kids are so excited!! I dont think were gonna have that many though so I promised them wed go pick some fresh ones at a strawberry patch soon. Visiting from Sharlenes blog!!! Its always nice to meet other twin moms!
Ohhhhh that looks so yummy! In 2001 I did this while starting my masters degree in UMASS. For me it was a WONDERFUL experience. I promised myself that ONE DAY, when I was a mommy I was going to take my little ones to do it. Recently I knew about a raspberry picking farm near by. I guess I will take Robert this year. No strawberries around! 🙁
Looks like so much fun! Plus you got some amazing pictures… what a great day!
