I'm hiding my head in shame. I gained 1 pound. I hate a set back. It's my own fault … although I'd like to blame it on the eating of bacon that went into the making of the video below.
Here are this weeks weigh-in and measurement results:
- Weight: 157.6 lbs 170.6 lbs
- Chest: 38.5" 39"
- Waist: 36" 40"
- Hips: 39.50" 41"
- Overall: Down 13 lbs and 6"
(red denotes initial measurements and weight)
My measurements stayed the same thankfully. One the plus side, I did buy a cocktail dress in a size 8 for the first time in many, many years. I was wearing a size 12 when I started this challenge, so I'm happy with that. I have to find the positive in this, right! Now to get that pesky pound back off again.
Instead of putting together a new recipe this week, I decided to put together a little video showing you the difference between frying and grilling bacon. See I told you it was the testing of bacon that went into the making of this video that was my downfall this week.

Size EIGHT?? WOOHOOO!!! Congratulations!
Don’t worry about that pound. It will be gone next week 😀
You are doing an amazing job! Could your 1 lb be either water weight or added muscle? I am not sure what your exercise routine is, but a fluctuation is not a disaster. Going from size 12 to 8 in one challenge is fabulous!! Hold that head up high. You are rockin’ it.
Shut the front door! You went from a size 12 to a size 8! That is AMAZING!! Put that 1 pound on the george Foreman burner and forget about it! Honey! You lost a couple dress sizes! You are Rockin’it! *Happy Dance* for you!!!!
My heart was singing for you. Down 2 dress sizes, that’s fantastic.
I hope that one pound doesn’t get you down – you’ve done so well in this challenge!!! Yay for size 8! I love cooking baking on my GF grill too – amazing!
OMG A size 8 I am so proud of you!
