If you are sitting at home watching football with friends and family, you want to put out food that’s quick and easy. The amazing ideas you see on Pinterest feel a little overwhelming to do if you have people over regularly to watch the game though. Don’t get me wrong, they are fantastic for the big game, or if you are hosting a big party, but not for every game.
In order to keep things simple, I’ve got a few ideas for you that still look great, will make your guests happy, but won’t leave you feeling overwhelmed.
There is nothing wrong with semi-homemade when entertaining at home.
What to serve guests
- Any’Tizers Hot Wings Buffalo Style and Honey BBQ Seasoned
- Homemade Fries
- Pretzel Crisps
- Carrot and Celery Sticks
- Condiments: Ketchup and Ranch
Any’Tizers are so quick and easy to heat up. Put them onto a foil-lined baking tray and into the oven on 425F-450F (depending on the wings – I ended up compromising at 430F) for 18-20 minutes.
If you want to add a dipping sauce on the side, I recommend ranch or blue cheese (or both).
These homemade fries are quick and easy to make. I have an Airfryer, which is perfect when you have a small oven and it’s already filled with trays of wings. The Airfryer website has great tips for getting the correct temperature and cooking time.
I placed out paper-lined baskets, which look a little nicer than paper plates, plus they make clean up quick and easy.
And for after you’ve made a mess eating your wings, make sure you have these out for guests:
Wet-Nap® Packettes are perfect because you don’t get sticky messy hands around a canister (especially when you have kids). Guests can grab an individual packet whenever they need one.
Any’Tizers and Wet-Nap are both available at Walmart. If you have a Super Walmart as I do, then you can also get the condiments, Pretzel Crisps, potatoes, carrots, and celery there too. One-stop shopping, it doesn’t get easier than that.
