Today, June 14th is National Flag Day.
Looking for a simple craft project to do with the kids today? They will love this one.
Supplies needed:
- Craft sticks
- Glue
- Paint - red, white, and blue
- Pipecleaner
- Beads
Glue the craft sticks as shown. Paint the blue section first, then paint alternate red and white craft sticks. You can either freehand the star, or use a small cookie cutter or stamp. Thread beads onto a pipecleaner and attach by wrapping around the craft sticks that are on each side of the flag.
