How to make a popsicle stick flag

Supplies

  • Popsicle craft sticks (10)
  • Glue
  • Paint – red, white, and blue
  • Paintbrush
  • Pipecleaner
  • Beads – red, white, and blue
  • Bells (optional)

Instructions

Glue the craft sticks as shown.

Paint the blue section first, and then paint alternate red and white craft sticks. Set your flag aside to dry completely before moving onto the next step.

You can either freehand the star (I recommend sketching it first, or use a small cookie cutter or stamp.

Thread beads onto a pipecleaner and attach by wrapping the ends around the craft sticks that are on either side of the flag.
