Alex Toys decorate a flower wristlet craft activity for little girls.
At an event hosted by The Big Toy Book in New York, I met with the team from Alex Toys. They gave me an adorable project to take home for Miss M, the Color a Flower Wristlet.
Of course, she has been begging and begging for me to do this with her ever since.
The boys went to see The Amazing Spider-Man at the movie theater today so I decided this would be the perfect beat-the-heat activity for us girls to do together.
It's quite a fun activity and a great learning one too. You begin by opening up the kit on the Alex Toys website. There is a link to 'design online', so your little girl can design and color the template for the wristlet, and if she doesn't like the colors she can change them as often as she likes. Once she is happy with her design, print it out and she can copy the colors using the special markers to color the actual wristlet (the markers are permanent).
This project kept her busy for nearly 2 hours, she spent a lot of time going through every color option available when she was designing her wristlet online.
