Looking for an easy family dinner idea to celebrate National Italian Food Day on February 13? This one is perfect.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Michael Angelo’s. The opinions and text are mine.

Did you know that today, February 13th, is National Italian Food Day?

I’ll take any excuse to eat pasta, but this day seems like the perfect one. It’s a good thing that pasta is a favorite with everyone in this house, so dishing up lasagna for family dinner is definitely in order.

Have you tried Michael Angelo’s products? They are convenient and affordable meal options found in the freezer aisle of your *grocery store (like Albertson’s and Walmart), that don’t sacrifice on the homemade taste and ingredients you want.

*check availability and store locations in your area here.

Pair the Michael Angelo’s Vegetable Lasagna and Lasagna with Meat Sauce with a side salad and warm bread straight out of the oven.

The lasagna takes about 55-minutes to heat through, so set a timer for 10-minutes before it’s ready so you can pop the bread (wrapped in aluminum foil) on a baking tray and warm that up at the same time.

With Michael Angelo’s you can guarantee you’re serving high-quality simple ingredients and a delicious, authentically Italian meal.

The ingredients read like a grocery list, not a trip to a chemistry lab.

    • Artisan Cheeses: Parmesan and Romano cheeses made by experts who know how to age it to the perfect texture and flavor, store it at the right temperature and protect it every step of the way. Mozzarella and Ricotta cheeses are made with equal quality, care and craftsmanship.
    • Vine-Ripened Tomatoes: Having tested tomatoes from all over the world, Michael Angelo’s only use the reddest, Grade A, vine-ripened tomatoes, grown in Northern California.
    • Heirloom Garlic: The cornerstone of many authentic Italian dishes, Michael Angelo’s uses heirloom garlic grown from Italian seed. Heirloom garlic produces a juice that ensures each clove caramelizes to perfection and produces a consistently mild, sweet flavor.
