Let’s talk about easy entertaining. When entertaining at home I love to make things that look like you’ve put a lot of work into them, but really it took you just a few minutes to whip up. This delicious strawberry jalapeño cream cheese log is just that. It brings out the festive colors of the holiday season but is one of the quickest appetizers you could make.

I’ve become a little obsessed with fruit spreads of late, and although I’d often put a little sugar in a homemade spread to sweeten it, this one doesn’t need any extra sweetening. Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Strawberry Jalapeño Fruit Spread is already naturally sweetened with honey, which gives it that perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavor.

Ingredients

• 1 cream cheese log
• 1/3 cup Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Strawberry Jalapeño Fruit Spread
• 1 tbs finely diced jalapeño
• 2 finely diced strawberries
• 1/2 lime - juice only
• 1 tbs chopped cilantro

Instructions

1. Place your cream cheese on a serving tray.
2. In a bowl combine the Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Strawberry Jalapeño Fruit Spread, jalapeño, strawberries, lime juice, and cilantro.
3. Spread over the top of the cream cheese log.

Serve with crackers - I prefer lightly salted crackers
