Celebrate the 100th Day of School with this FREE printable headband craft for your classroom. The kids will love decorating it in class and then wearing it home from school.
How to make a 100 days of school headband
Supplies
- Our free printable 100th day of school headband
- Construction paper
- Crayons, paint, markers, or pencils
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Glue stick
I created this printable for our kids at school. It was a last-minute project because we had actually forgotten it was the 100th day of school until another teacher gave us stickers to give to our kids. The evening before, I whipped this up using PicMonkey. It was really easy to pull together although a little time-consuming, so I thought I’d share it here as a free download.
Instructions
Once you’ve downloaded and printed the headband, give it to the kids to color in with crayons, paint, markers, or pencils.
Craft tip: If you choose to use paint, don’t forget art smocks, and paint these early enough in the day that they have time to dry before the kids go home from school.
Cut out the headband. Measure the band at the bottom of the headband and cut two strips of construction paper that are the same width. Glue them to either side of the headband.
Wrap the headband around the child’s head until it sits comfortably. Carefully take the headband off and staple the construction paper strips together.
