Mermaid Munch Snack Mix and Tubs

These fun mermaid ombre blue semi-handmade snack tubs are filled with under the sea snack mix for a mermaid themed party.

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile now, you will know that I have a slight obsession with themed snacks and treats, especially for movie nights. I think they are so much fun, and watching the kids’ faces light up when I show them what they’ll be snacking on is well and truly worth the little extra effort.

So I was inspired to make this fun themed snack for a mermaid-themed movie night.

Isn’t it fun? Those pink Goldfish® Princess crackers make the snack mix even more fun.

How to make a mermaid party snack tub

Supplies

• Snack cartons (or paper bags)
• Card stock in 3 colors
• Circle punch (or trusty old scissors and something circular to trace around)
• Glue stick

Ingredients

• Goldfish Princess crackers
• Kettlecorn
• White chocolate chips
• Blue candy (such as sixlets)
• Sprinkles – I used yellow stars and gold sprinkles

How to make

Use your circle punch to punch out circles in card stock.

You’ll need a lot of circles … again, this is a great project for kids to help with.

Attach the circles in a pattern onto your treat container using the glue stick until all sides are covered.

In a bowl, combine the ingredients, gently tossing with a spoon until it’s all mixed together.

Spoon the ingredients into the treat containers and serve.
