Kids are going to have so much decorating and eating these turkey Oreo cookies this Thanksgiving. Make sure they make enough for everyone.
Last week, the twins’ class at school had a Thanksgiving party. A few parents helped out at 4 stations around the room to do Thanksgiving-themed crafts, food, and activities with the kids.
I planted my feet firmly at the ‘decorate turkey Oreo cookies’ station and helped all the kids decorate their own turkey cookies.
Turkey Oreo cookies
Aren’t these turkey cookies just adorable?
Supplies
- Golden Oreo’s
- M&M’s – red and orange
- Candy corn
- Chocolate frosting
- Malt balls
- Paper plate
- Plastic knife
Instructions
As you can see very little instruction needs to be given, these turkey Oreo cookies are fairly self-explanatory.
Place your Oreo on a paper plate. Using a plastic knife cover the Oreo in frosting, and then add candy so that your cookie looks like a turkey.
These will make a fun Thanksgiving Day treat and activity for kids.
