Where To Buy Affordable Kids Clothes

Kids’ grow out of clothes quickly and it’s expensive to replace them. With Kids on 45th, you can get an affordable box full of clothes for under $60.

Disclosure: I received a box of clothes for Flynn to try out from Kids on 45th.

Flynn went through a growth spurt around the middle of the year. He almost always wears long pants, so as soon as they hit his ankle I know it’s time to go shopping again. Thankfully, Kids on 45th reached out to see if I’d like to try out the service they offer.

You can pick and choose the types of clothing items you want and they tell you immediately how much each item costs and what your total will be. Each item ranges between $1.99 for tees to $12.99 for winter coats. The box I ordered cost $60 and he received 10 items of clothing including:

  • 2 pairs of jeans
  • 2 tracksuit pants
  • 1 pair of casual pants (perfect for his weekly golf lesson)
  • 1 t-shirt
  • 1 hoodie
  • 3 lightweight long-sleeved tops

One thing I did notice through the ordering process was there wasn’t a box for in-between sizes. Flynn is currently wearing a 12-14 in boys, but the options were 10-12 and 14-16. There is a box though that you can fill out more information. Put in there the color and style of clothing your child normally wears (for example Flynn doesn’t like stiff jeans that rub) and extra information about in-between sizes.

The box was delivered right to our door and even though these are secondhand clothes they all looked like they’d never been worn. And, they all fit perfectly.

This is well worth looking into if you are on a tight budget and need to replace clothes with the changing seasons.

It is not a subscription-based service, so order as you need to and if you use code TONYA at checkout you’ll receive $10 off your first order.
