Looking for a fun craft project for the kids this weekend? I'm sharing the perfect Valentine's Day craft over at Blissfully Domestic. But this one doesn't need to be taken down after the holiday is over, leave it up year-round.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and if you are looking for quick and easy class treats on a budget, then I've got the perfect thing.
My daughter is currently obsessed with all things emoji, so naturally class treats and gifts this year will be emoji themed. Of course though, I don't want to spend a fortune having cupcakes custom made, so came up with a much more budget friendly idea that the kids will love just as much, and that the kids can help make too.
If you haven't been to the 99 Cents Only Store for a while and are looking for emoji goodies, then be sure to check out what your local store has on hand, because mine has everything from emoji selfie sticks, to emoji party supplies, and emoji stationery supplies.
They also have these great emoji gift bags (pictured below). The face on them is the perfect size to make cupcake toppers, and you get two bags for 99 cents. Plus they had the clear tape, and toothpicks for 99 cents too so I didn't need to go anywhere else. They also have everything you need to make cupcakes too including baking ingredients, baking pans, cupcake liners, and pre-packaged cake and icing mixes too depending on whether you want to bake from scratch, or bake from a box. One-stop shopping is the best kind.
The kids have four days off school this coming weekend, so both classes are hosting special Valentine's Day parties today.
Of course I left preparing for the parties until the last-minute. Because I procrastinate. A lot. But, after a little late night crafting, these are the Valentine's Day gifts I sent in their backpacks this morning to hand out to their classmates.
They are really quick and easy to make, you only need three things.
If you are like me and don't really decorate for Valentine's Day, but like to make something fun and that's full of love (but can be left up year-round), then I've got a fun little DIY project over at Jo-Lynne Shane's blog today that you will love.
You'll find the full tutorial to make this DIY String Art Heart over at Jo-Lynne Shane's blog. This is a great project for kids too.
I love seeing my work featured around the web and in print, however please only use one image (which should be credited and linked to the original post) and do not re-publish recipes or tutorials. Thank you.
