Look what I found at Pier 1 imports last week.

You might recognize these as part of a swap gift that I sent out.  Well I was a little jealous that somebody else was getting them, so had to scoop up a box for myself too.

Look at what I whipped up for the kids.

Note: the green in the cake.  This is how I did it:

a few spots of food coloring carefully dropped on top with a medicine dropper, then swirled through the cake mix with a knife.  Oh and in case you were wondering I used mini bundt pans to make these.  The little cats are leaping over the hole in the middle.

I didn't use the baking cups that came in the box, instead I found some cute purple ones at a party store and the multi-colored sprinkles are available at Target.

Wouldn't these make fabulous treats for a Halloween party.  I can't wait to whip up a couple more batches of these fun little cupcakes.
