The twins made these pinecone turkeys at a military family craft event that we went to. They are so easy to make. All you need is glue, felt, googly eyes, feathers, and pinecones. Cut out the facial features and feet from the felt and attach everything to the pinecone with glue.

These turkey handprints were turned into placemats for Thanksgiving lunches that parents were invited to attend at the twins school. Your kids will love making their own placemats for your family’s Thanksgiving dinner this year. You can take the finished art to an office supplies store such as Staples or Office Depot to be laminated so they can be wiped clean. Grandparents can take the art home with them after dinner.
