Hilarious! That happened to me while stuck on thw freeway in rush hour traffic. I had a van filled with 10 kids and one of the 8 year olds wet himself and the van because we were stuck in traffic. Poor kid was humiliated! I felt bad for him.
Oh my…..what us parents go through. The hilarious part to me is that you had a teenager to content with as well 😉 I have teenagers now too. And I love the “still going”.The purple tree in your pics is awesome. What is that?? I love it.
What a crazy day! Let me know what you find in the furniture dept. We’re also looking for new beds for the kids…and coordinating boy/girl bedding as well!
I want you to know I’m laughing WITH you. With you…because I’m such a good blog pal and all. And because I have SO been there. I am the WORST potty training parent in the world and I’ve only done it one at a time!
I fear this is a prediction for me…hehe! We are full into potty training and I need to work up the bravery to leave the house without a diaper/pull up on Sarah. She’s been DRY for 4 days in a row ALL day long but has missed the potty 2x for #2. She’s doing great though. I wonder how our trip to Chicago will go in a few weeks…definitely taking the potty chair with us in the van!!!
First, great photos! Love the ones of the purple tree, especially. Been seeing those all over town lately and they are gorgeous!Second, OMG about the potty training. So sorry you had to go through all that but at least you could laugh about it!
Oh Tonya… that sounds like something that would happen to me! LOL. My most fav photo, beside the purple trees (WOW), is of the your son faaaaaar away from the potty trainers and crazy mom. SO funny.

Susan: the tree is a Jacaranda. Quite common in our area. It’s beautiful.

And thisis why I have taken the most half ass approach to potty training that I possibly can. My kids will be potty trained by kindergarden. Maybe.
Oh boy! What an ordeal, but like you said, if you don’t laugh about it, you will go crazy!
HA HA HA!!! Too funny!
