Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner and the kids are going to love these non-alcoholic pineapple margaritas with bendy mustache straws. Don’t forget to make extra mustache straws for the alcoholic version of your drinks too.
Pineapple margarita mocktail
Let’s make our delicious pineapple margarita drink recipe. Print the recipe below and make these drinks as your guests arrive. Alternatively, set up a margarita bar with a blender so your guests can make their own drinks.
This recipe makes four cocktails, so adjust the quantity of each of the ingredients according to how many guests you’ll be having. Set up the alcoholic version on one table, and mocktail on another to keep them separated because you don’t want kids using the alcoholic mix by mistake.
If you want to serve a variety of options, purchase frozen fruit juice concentrate in other flavors too, including orange, strawberry, and grapefruit. Don’t forget to include fresh fruit on your margarita bar that guests can use as a garnish, because it’s not a cocktail without a garnish.
How to make bendy mustache straws
Supplies
- Mustache PDF (download)
- Printer
- Photo paper
- Bendy straws
- Hole punch
- Scissors
Instructions
Download our free mustache PDF and print it on photo paper. Make sure that the ink is dry before you cut them out so they don’t smudge.
Using scissors, cut out each mustache and hole-punch the center. Insert a bendy straw through the hole. Put all of your straws into a glass or vase on the table with a pen. Guests can write their names on the back of the mustache so they don’t lose their drink.
Tip: Use different colored straws to identify alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, for example, black for adults, and white for kids. Or, keep the colors bright and colorful.
