Whether you have outdoor plants, indoor plants, or want hangers for plants, we’ve got lots of DIY plant stands for you to make this weekend.

DIY hanging plant holder
This driftwood hanging planter is my favorite DIY plant stand project so far. We have it hanging out of the direct sunlight on the chicken coop that used to be our garden shed. It’s the perfect addition to our backyard.
DIY plant stand
This wood stake plant stand is perfect for hiding ugly plastic pots. This project is ideal for holiday and seasonal plants such as mums and poinsettias. You can put anything in there though and it’s so easy to make. My full tutorial is over at Divine Lifestyle.
Fairy garden in a box
This fairy garden in a box isn’t a conventional plant stand, but it’s the perfect way to display small plants, succulents, or herbs. We made it so that plants can be switched out easily for different seasons or holidays.
DIY concrete and wood planter
This concrete and wood planter is perfect for our front porch. We give you all the tips you need to make one for your garden over at Make and Takes. You can make these as big as you want, just remember that concrete is heavy to move.
Macrame hanging plants
Macrame plant hangers are so easy to make. I have two very easy tutorials to share with you that I created for Make and Takes and Kids Activities Blog.
- An easy macrame plant hanger using weatherproof cord.
- Beginner DIY macrame plant hanger using hemp cord.
Knit plant pot cozies
Plant pot cozies are the perfect way to hid ugly black pots. You can knit them in any color or knit a fun pattern that will brighten up every room.
