Last weekend we were invited to a play date of epic proportions at Dos Pueblos Ranch. We decided to make an entire weekend out of this and turned it into a camping weekend (which I’ll post about later – you know, once I edit and pare down the 3000 photographs taken).
The setting for the play date was beautiful. Dos Pueblos Ranch is spectacular, so if you have an opportunity to go there, then do it.
We were provided with a schedule for the day that included a kids’ photo walk with Heather Armstrong, a paint fight with Maggie Mason, sand art with Liz Stanley , poetry in motion with Rebecca Woolf and tin foil viking costumes with Charlie and Andy of How to Be a Dad … just to name a few things.
We walked past avocado trees, under the train tracks and down to the private oceanfront compound decked out with fire pits, cushions and outdoor furniture.
This play date truly was epic. The food was fabulous, and don’t think that the tiny details such as valet parking and having a crew on hand walking around with sunscreen went unnoticed. Thank you to Hyundai and all of the bloggers involved.
