In my Wilton Cake Decorating Class at Michael's this week I learned how to make fondant daisies.
We went to a beach party yesterday and so I whipped up a few more and made these:
Aren't they adorable … if I do say so myself. And bite-sized too.
The mini cupcakes were baked using PimTechamuanvivit's recipe for Decadent Chocolate Cake in The Foodie Handbook, which you may remember I received a copy of at The Martha Stewart Blog Show. Tip: the mini cupcakes need to be baked for 9 minutes.
Here are the basic instructions for the fondant daisies on the Wilton website.

Thank you so much for your lovely compliments Tara, I truly appreciate them.
I only wish I knew how to ship cakes. I can barely drive them in my car without them toppling over ha ha. It’s something I’m going to have to work on.
