Disclosure: These updated teacher appreciation gift ideas have been sponsored by Visa Clear Prepaid and Prepaid Visa® RushCard.
Teacher Appreciation gifts don’t have to be expensive, or elaborate, they just need to be thoughtful. Our school normally does one day each week that is focused on the word TEACH – so Monday is letter T, through to Friday being letter H.
For this post I’m going to focus on the letter ‘H’, which for me means to lend a ‘Helping Hand’. The kids in the class have reading buddies at a local middle school, and the teacher asked me to come up with a fun craft project using lollipops that the kids could make and give to their reading buddies to thank them for spending so much time reading with them throughout the school year.
So I made these superhero lollipops:
And then I spent some time in the classroom teaching the kids (in small groups of four students at a time) how to make one for each of their reading buddies.
The best BATMAN party that little boys will love, complete with fun snacks, costumes, and building.
