Disney Super Buddies costumes
These handmade super hero capes are no-sew and perfect for your kids, pets, and their toy dogs to wear while watching the movie.
- Fleece (assorted colors)
Measure your kids from their neck to their lower back, and then repeat with any pet or toy capes you want to make.
Cut the fleece to size. Now cut out stars, a lightning bolt, and super hero emblem, and glue them into place. Set them aside to dry.
Disney Super Buddies movie night treats
This Disney Super Buddies themed party table is full of treats for both the kids and puppies.
You can’t watch a movie without popcorn, and this pup corn served in brown paper lunch bags will be loved by kids.
Whip up a bowl of puppy chow for the kids too, they will especially love this Oreo flavored one.
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Oreos (blended)
Melt the chocolate chips and pour over the rice cereal. Use a spoon to gently combine until all of the cereal is covered in chocolate.
In two Ziploc bags add half of the powdered sugar and half of the crushed Oreos. Note: The reason you need two bags is that the icing mixture can become clumpy after a while, so you will want a fresh batch.
Add half of the chocolate covered cereal to each of the bags and shake until the cereal is coated in the icing mixture.
Sprinkles Cupcakes: If you are lucky enough to have a Sprinkles cupcake store near you, grab a few for your party. They even sell doggy cupcakes so your pooch can enjoy a special treat too.
Rice Krispie Bones: Use the recipe on the Rice Krispies website to make a sheet of Rice Krispie treats and roll it flat. Using a bone-shaped cookie cutter cut out Rice Krispie bones.
Don’t forget a bottle of chilled water for both kids and your pooch to enjoy.
