Funny face pizza decorating

This was the perfect family pizza night activity for us. We used the four-cheese gluten-free Banza pizzas for our base. The best part is everyone’s funny face was made with ingredients they will actually eat.

My daughter loves spinach, so her funny face was decorated using spinach for the hair, chicken for the mouth and eyes, and a pesto beard and mustache.

Pineapple, chicken, and pesto funny face pizza

As you can see, the pizzas turned out perfectly even once they were baked in the oven; the before photo of this one is in the image at the top of the page. My son is extremely picky with pizza toppings. He used to only like pineapple, but now he will eat pesto and chicken too.

Mike and I like a lot of vegetables on our pizza so as you can see we topped ours with lots of produce and chicken. We used red and green bell peppers and corn for the hair, tomatoes for the eyes, chicken for the mouth, and pesto piped on for the eyelashes and the nose.

As you can see all of our pizzas turned out perfectly (even once baked) and everyone thought they were hilarious. M thought F’s pizza looked a little like him with his blond (pineapple) hair. M’s looked more like Mike though with his facial hair.
